i picked up a Sunn 100S yesterday. It is a very nice sounding amp..
A nice departure from the Mesa/Marshall camp. No preamp, but with
a Varidrive I can really make this baby sing.. Anyways, I have a few
questions for you Sunn experts:
- How many ohms are the speaker outputs? I've tracked down a schematic and looked at that.. but I see 4, 8 and 16 there, not too
obvious which it really is..
- How do I date this amp? I know from the front knobs that it's made
sometime after 1967.. But that's about it.
- How do I remove the amp from it's case? I removed all of the screws
on the bottom, but the amp still doesn't slide out.. It catches on the front
top beveled piece.. Once I can do this, I'll probably be able to answer my
last question..
