Yes, the Sonaro came as a separate head; I know because I have two of them!
Up to 1968, the Sonaro was a "combo" with the amp chassis and speakers in a single, but divided, cabinet. In 1969 the Sonaro became a separate head and speaker cabinet. It came with a pair of EL34's. Sometimes people will install KT88's (or 6550's) in a Sonaro. The 100S and 200S amp heads look very similar to the Sonaro, except that the transformers are physically larger.
