Fender Bassman 300 = Sunn 300T ???

Hi all.
This week-end, I had the opportunity to play with a Sunn 300T bass amp. Damn this amp is great. I would like to find the same, but I know that it not produced anymore. And it would be great luck to find a used one.
So I would like to know if the new Fender Bassman 300 offers the same sound as the Sunn 300T. They have exactly the same design and as Sunn has been bought by Fender, it could be the "same amp"...

I am almost certain that the Fender Bassman 300 IS the Sunn 300T.  It should be no coincidence that the Bassman 300 came out shortly after Fender discontinued their Sunn bass amp gear line (300T, ...).  The only difference to me is the removal of the Sunn logo (being replaced with the Fender logo).  Apparantly the "Sunn" stuff was not registering to the younger generation, so Fender dropped the marketing of the Sunn name in their product line.  I own a Sunn 300T and let me say that it simply awesome.  Fellow bass-player freinds of mine drool to play through my rig when we do gigs together.  Well worth the purchase.
