Missing: Beta Lead Reverberation!!!

Hey, just got my beta lead.  When I opened the box in which it was shipped, there was a note attached:

"Removed the reverb tank because it makes the amp sound better & the adhesive let go but it works fine, enjoy the amp!"

Sorry, but I can't do that without the reverb.  

So I opened it up and attempted to reconnect it, but found the cords were incapable of such a thing.  There are black plastic covers over the ends of the cords.  They look like they've either been cut, or that they need to be cut or removed to expose the tips so as to insert them into the inputs on the reverb tank.  PLEASE INSTRUCT ME ON WHAT TO DO HERE.

 It looks to me like the RCA connectors have had shrink tube applied that just needs to be removed. He probably did it to keep them from shorting. Just pull or cut the thin layer of heat shrink off and there should be RCAs underneath.

Reverb found.  Thanks Don, it worked of course.

There is this sweet alchemy one can conjure with that Beta reverb (I don't know if this goes for other Sunn heads, though I'd like to be informed if it does)...One needs only take the channel volume level down to zero, with the master still turned up, as well as the reverb...add distortion, and this distant, almost delayed magic kind of emits like gas from the speakers.  It sounds glacial.  It sounds like the sun(n) sighing as it melts us into another age.
