fellow ear manglers,
my recently acquired 2000S is weak in volume and tone.
i've checked all tubes (4 ge 6550's, 6an8, mullard 12ax7)
and they all read very strong, but when we get down to business
my 200s stomps all over it's bigger brother! i'm running through
a really good marshall 4x12 and it's just no contest between
the two amps and that just don't seem right, now does it?
are we looking at a power supply difficulty or perhaps a more
esoteric/mystical dilemma? even the caps spec out ok.
any help is much appreciated as i very much want this amp to work.
