i'm trying to use a model t i acquired in the uk. i can buy a 110/230 voltage transformer but i need to know if the model t will run on 50 hz. i know very little about electrics so can anyone help?

You might take a look at this previous post concerning 50hz (it is not model specific).

I'm not sure which way your voltage needs to go, but make sure it matches the power requirements stated on the back of the amp... i.e. a Model T (USA anyway) requires 120volts and not 110.
