I'm about to break down and get new tubes for my late 60's Sentrua II.  It has KT88s in it, they still sound great, but a tech told me that one of them was only pulling half as hard as the other.
Anyway, my question is about tube brands.  Whats good?  I have heard the Chineese ones aren't.  Also, I've seen KT90s listed as upgrades for the KT88.
Any comments / experiences would be appreciated

Either NOS Tung-Sol 6550s or Ei KT90s !
