Coliseum 880 Slave Amp Question

I would like to know if you use the pre-amp out to connect a coliseum slave amp? I know it sounds stupid but I don't see a dedicated slave amp out like my 2000S. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

If you have a preamp out, that will work well as an input to the slave amp.

Thanks for the info. This is my first Coliseum 880 and besides the two speaker outs it only has the monitor in and preamp out on back panel. May get a slave amp soon and wanted to make sure. Thanks!

You have a 2000S with a dedicated slave amp out? Can you email a pic how that's wired into the circuit? I would love to check that out!

I love my sunn amps but I admit I am lacking in complete info on every model. I have always assumed that the quarter inch on the chasis and between the power tubes was for a slave amp. If it isn't then what is it for? Like it isn't loud enough already!(he he!)

It's the adjustment point for biasing the tubes. There were some modified 2000S's (Felix Pappalardi's for example) that could be daisy chained together and use one preamp to control multiple heads. I thought maybe you had one of these rarities, and I could "go to school" on the circuit.

Ineresting info. Mine is unmodified as far as I know. It is a pretty clean example except for the missing back piece and somebody installed a grounded plug. No bass boost so i'm thinking early 1968. It is in my limited experience the cleanest most beutiful tone I have ever heard. Bass or 6 string.

I believe you are correct about your amps age. The 2000S and it's siblings are great examples of basic, straight forward tube instrument amplifiers. Pure and simple, nothing fancy, but a good solid design that sounds fantastic, especially for bass guitar.
