So I play guitar in a band with no bass player right now, and we were looking to get a 2x15 cabinet so that someone could handle bass duties sometimes. However, I'd also like to use it for guitar duties as well, for loud, distorted rock. The cabinets in question are either a Sunn 215BH or a Sunn 2000s cabinet, both are 2x15. For those who have used a guitar head with a 2x15 cab before and played it both clean and dirty and LOUD, how does it sound? We'd like to make up for our lack of bottom end a little by having him use this... thanks!
