model t question...volume question...

so...when the amp is correctly loaded the volume decreases when you turn the  master volume up past 6.5 or so....it gets less gainy and it has less volume...is this a common occurance with model t's or what?

its got new tubes

thanks for any help you can lend.

ps...its a 76 w/red cosmetics and mid selector switch

went ahead and the cut wire out

works like a charm!

also put a telefunken 7025 in the first preamp stage....sounds really good, couldnt be more happy

after reading that guys site...it makes me want a first gen model t real bad!

It shouldn't be that hard to mod a second gen into a first gen.

I found that cutting that one wire and taming the mid boost was enough for me. I love my T now, where I merely liked it before.

my 76 model T does the same thing.  i fully intend to cut that wire after i get it re-tubed.
