Did Jaco used Sunn?!?!!

A friend of mine claims that Jaco, bass god and creator of fretless bass, used Sunn amps at first.  Really? That would be pretty cool....

I'm a fan too, but Jaco did not create the fretless bass. Some people say the bassist in the Ohio Players was the first one to yank out the frets on his P-Bass. Ampeg used to make a fretless bass guitar (The AEB-1) that beat Jaco by a decade. Of course it's all kind of silly; upright basses have been fretless for about 500 years or so.  :-D
