Beta lead, channel b not working

Hi. I just purchased I Sunn Beta Lead Combo (2x12) from ebay. Channel A works fine, but for some reason or another, channel B does not work. I really have no idea what the problem could be. The light turns on, and I tried playing with the footswitch and playing through all 3 inputs, but no matter what it won't work. Any ideas?

First try plugging in your instrument just to Channel B... twiddle with the knobs.

Next I would try taking it apart and giving the pots and jacks a thorough cleaning (might as well do them all while you're in there).


If that doesn't work, try plugging a signal into the effects loop return of channel B (run your instrument through some sort of pedal direct to the effects loop).  I don't think you have to plug anything into the send to get it to accept the input (if so, just plug another cable in)...

If THAT doesn't work, then report back, there may be another problem.  These are just the "easy" things I can think of right now.
