foot switch
« on: September 09, 2007, 01:05:51 pm »
Hey guys, does any one know where I can find a foot switch for a sunn concert lead? the foot switch connection is RCA style, two (like a left and right on a stereo) for distortion and two for reverb. It's pretty weird, I've never seen one like that before and I haven't heard the sunn distortion or reverb yet.

I built a footswitch for a friend with a Concert Bass by using two RCA jacks with each one going to a SPST switch and then using a normal RCA cable to connect the box to the amp.  It's not hard at all to do if you can solder.

Just go to radio shack and get a 1/4" stereo jack to 2 RCA plug cable and you can use most any two button footswitch.

But if you haven't heard the reverb, a footswitch isn't going to give it to you. The reverb is on without a footswitch.
