i'm going to be building cabinets in the coming months of my own basic designs, just looking for a little insight as to what the old sunn 412 box cab size specs were. i'm thinking about going 36x36, but am having trouble on depth. just looking to get a basic idea of what a good size would be and work with that figure to fit my needs.
for the record i'm building 2x10, 2x12, 2x18, 4x12, 4x10, 4x15, 6x12, maybe an 8x12 and the sky is really the limit. i want to experiment with different speaker combos, i.e. 12's and 15's in the same cab with crazy baffle designs. red tolex, oxblood and khaki grill cloth, recessed handles, paralell inputs any ohm rating and using Eminence speakers.
thanks for the heads up! this is going to be a fun project, im only going to do it for fun, not $$$. if anyone wants one, i'd build whatever and charge only for my ingredients and shipping.
