My hot Sunn Beta Lead

hey good people of the board!
I got a sunn beta lead combo cab (2x15) yesterday, and i playeed it, sounds beast, only thing that bothers me is that the amp head gets really, really hot. whats wrong?

Does it get hot just sitting and not being played or does playing through it make it get hot? There is an internal bias adjustment that may have drifted but the chassis serves as a heat sink so it will get hot when you are playing. There also could be a number of internal part failures that would make the amp get hot just sitting.

I have a concert lead that did the same thing.  it also chirped when I flipped the power switch on.  that stopped and then the sound phased in and out, from audible to nothing and back.  it is currently at a techs place. hopefully he can figure it out.  and suggestions on that one?  I used it a lot one week and this all started.  the chirp was that way since I got it
