Does any one know how to find how old my power amp is?

Is there any site that you can look up your Sunn product by its serial number? I have a Sunn SPL 7000 and i want to find out its relative age. Any help would be greatly appreaciated.

  Hi there,on the schematics page on this site there is a schem. for a SPL 7450 and the date on it is 03-05-90,hop this is of some help Mel.

Your amp is listed on this dealer price sheet.  It doesn't say what year this is from.

EDIT: the last page of the price list says June 1986.
