did only the beta series have the c-mos technology?
« on: June 07, 2008, 07:58:27 am »
i've never noticed the "c-mos technology" written on any other solid state amps.   what exactly is c-mos?   have i seen it used in other electronic devices?   and if it is so awesome (which i think it is.  the bete series sounds so good)  how come it didn't "take off" with other amp lines?  or did it?

Hi there,Peavey has used c-mos technology for quite some time.Any of their amps with a Phasor/Phase shifter or selectable rev.settings has a c-mos chip in it.I'm not sure if the Sunn Alpha series was c-mos or not.Someone on here will know, good luck,Mel.
