original model T speakers
« on: August 03, 2008, 01:53:10 am »
just for curiosity's sake, does anybody know which speakers the original model T was typically matched with?

Or even better, what kind of speakers they sound good with?

Thanks :)

THE BLEEDING..looking at the catalogs..it would appear that it was up to the owner of the amp...you could match the head with any cab that you wanted to plug into to..it was mix and match...your call...and, it was what your ears was looking for....one cab? ten cabs? it was up to you...any of you model t owners out there in sunn land will tell probably the same thing....it was up to what type of guitar you were playing thru it and how much boom you wanted to create..hope this helps...smiles  BOB  from mass

yeah i gots a bunch of Olde SUNN Model Ts-and i think the reason they put all those ohm settings on them was so you could get almost any cab to work w/ them.
i use Ampeg 8X10s-Sunn 4X15s-Sunn 2X15s-Sunn4X12s-Sunn 1X15s-Marshall 4X12s-Marshall 2X15s, etc.
all those combinations sound different but beautiful.
