2x15 to a 6x12

Can a 70s Sunn 2x15 be converted to a 6x12? I have a 2x15 sitting around and would love to turn it into a 6x12. Are the dimensions the same for the 2x15 and 6x12 or are the 6x12s bigger?
Would I need to angle the speakers for them to fit or could I just do them straight?

i'm no traditionalist BUTT!
please dont frankensize an olde Sunn cabinet.
they are things of beauty and need to be preserved and used by musicians.
and there are fewer and fewer around.
sell it er somethin.

It's actually not a Sunn. My old bassist had it made for him to replicate the old 70's Sunn but he moved and now I'm stuck with it and cant use it.
