noisey power switch on coliseum lead.
« on: January 10, 2009, 09:43:45 am »
i have this coliseum lead that sounds great.  has a few minor issues.  one of the inputs on channel 1 or a is very low, volume wise when plugged in and playing.  but the other works fine, so i don't really mind.

but, the power on / off switch is very noisey when being turned on and off.  very loud crackles and pops when turned.   i tried cleaning it.  what else could be the problem?  still dirty or bad connections?   thanks anyone.

Hi there,it'll either be 2 wires soldered on the sw.,or 2 terminals, not a big job.As far as a sw. goes, take the old one with you if you're buying one in person,if you're buying from some co. on line, make sure the measurments are right. It's going to be hard to find an orig. I think.Good luck,Mel.
