Hi there, you have to make sure each amp is powering up 4 tens. Some of the newer Ampeg cabs have separate input jacks for this. You can't run 2 amps into one cab, driving the same spkr.(s).Good luck, don't blow anything up,Mel.

Actually, my idea is to use one amp (Model T or 2000s) as a pre-amp kind of way.
is that possible? any ideas how to connect that? wich outputs/inputs?
If necessary i can use two ampeg cabinets. I'm looking for a REALLY loud wall of Bass.
thanx for the help

Hi there, you could use the line out of the Model-T and go to another amp input, ideally a power amp not another preamp/power amp combination.I would be inclined to look for a Sunn Concert or Colliseum Slave/Power amp and use that on the second cab.Or you could use the 2000S head on the second cab and "y" the inputs from the Model-T and the 2000S together.Hope this is of some help, good luck,Mel.

The vintage model Ts have two jacks near the inputs marked "Output". Plug into the Model T, either channel or the "Both" input and run a cable from the "Output" jack to the 2000S. If you are using the "Both" input you can use either "Output". Each cab should be connected to it's own speaker.

The "OUTPUT" jack is before the preamp, though. Not really any different from using a Y to plug into separate amps.

Running the pre out into another amp won't help much at all, you want all power tubes working. I think your best bet is to get more 810's, two per amp should suffice.  Watch your impedance with the Sunns...

I've got a 2000s running into an amperg 8x10 and its loud enough to wake the dead.  Two could only be better!
