effects loop question
« on: December 28, 2009, 01:31:05 pm »
Hey guys, call me a noob if you like for this novice-esque question but I have no experience with effects loops and figured I'd get the best answer here. I own a Sunn Concert Bass (red knob version), i also recently purchased a Danelectro Cool Cat Chorus (18v version). If I wanted to run this in an effects loop would I use the preamp in/out jacks? Is it done some other way? Or could I not do it at all?

I just figured this would be the best way since my other pedals are more dirt and not so much effects and are run to the face of the amp, thought it would be best to run this in a loop.

NEVERMIND, I GUESS I WAS RIGHT (i think)

i found this elsewhere
"you can put anything between the preamp and poweramp, you can run something directly into the poweramp, not using the preamp, you can output the preamp to a different poweramp, not using that poweramp

whatever works, the loop "send" is just a preamp output, and the loop "return" is just a poweramp input"
