no variable resistor SCL
« on: June 15, 2009, 09:10:17 pm »
I have a Sunn Concert Lead with no variable resistor in the power amp stage.Resistor 310 a 100/k linear potentiometer is not in the board and there is not even a hole for one.Can anyone get me a schematic for this variation? And does the schematic at fender that revises the power amp design have a variation for a fixed resistance power amp.The revision power amp schematic that fender gave maybe like a stability modificatio.I think.Does anybody have an idea?Good Day.

The one schematic I can find without the bias adjustment is the Concert PA (1969) D1002E. The PCB layout is completely different from the other Concert series amps with the driver transistor mounted on the board with a small heatsink. Other presumably later schematics for the Concert Controller I, D1024H, D1044 and D1059A have the pot as do all the Concert Bass, Concert Lead and Concert Slave amps.
