Anyone ever tried Jensen P15N's in a 215B Cabinet?
« on: June 17, 2009, 09:36:11 pm »
First off, I am a guitar player, not bass, but I got ahold of a Sunn 215B cabinet and now Id like to try  a pair of Jensen P15N's in it. These were the speakers in the  Fender Tweed Pro. They are 8 ohm, so I could run my Sunn 100S at 4 ohms. I am hopeing for alot of the punch of the pro, something similar ot the P12N Jensen 4x10  Bassman cabinet thump.
Thing is, they are quite pricey-the Jensen P15N's. It'd run me over 300 bucks , and I hate to try it if someone esle has done it without good reults, so just in case , Im asking here. Thanks.
