I recently bought a Sunn Sonic I off of ebay in relatively good shape. It's pretty cool 'cause it has numbers on the knobs which I think places it at '66 or '67. However, I tried running it through my Ampeg 410-HLF and all I get is noise. There's signal coming from the 1/4 input but I still can't get anything out of it.
Is the problem in the size of the cab? Or is it dirty transistors? The tubes are the original EL34's and they seem to be in good condition.
Also, the cab is registered as 4-ohms impedance.
