Well lets say very little, kind one of those dream finds less than 100$ any idea where i can get handle covers? this amp in very good cond and othere than scrathy pots, awsome tone, evrything appears to function proper, i realy luv it,   im not gigging but the power is unreal i just retubed and bia'ed it at 42ma and not sure if this is correct, also pt runs a little hot not frying but not cool, i need to go through voltages and clean up pots there appears to be no replacement parts all cde caps, love the way these amps are built like tanks,   thanks mark

Your time will come django things turn up in the oddest places, i passed the place and turned around a 1/2 mile later,  i sometimes feel iv gotta stop at yard sales,  im a tube junky and im laid off now so i got time to investagate places,   ain't got no money but i look just incase.   i offered all the money i had in my pocket and that was all the money i had in the world also and prayed.   LOL   wife was'nt real happy but she understood now spending 140$ on a quad of 6550 did'nt go over to well but she understood,  ya i guess i am a lucky bastard,                                            mark

and you went straight to ebay with it!?  you were lucky enough to have the amp gods bestow this on you, and this is how you treat them?

Well, he did say he was laid off & had no money, so... :-(

Guess if it comes down to keeping one's glorious find & paying the bills, feeding the bulldog wins every time...

A couple of years back I picked up a 74' red knob model-t  at my local music store for $225.  There was a  Traynor YBA1 head also for $175.  Opted for the Sunn.  Silly me I removed the original tolex and covered it with Marshall red tolex.  So if anybody ever sees a model-t that's red.  It had the mid selector switch which worked nice for bass guitar IMO.  Original GE6550s, man wish I still had it.
Looks like you got yourself a real nice amp there at a steal of a price!  Good luck on the handles, I remember mine was missing the chrome cap covers and the leather was cracked.  Tried finding replacement ones, but to no avail.
