Reverb on a Sunn Beta Lead
« on: March 19, 2010, 09:08:14 am »
I just recently got my Beta Lead back from the shop, but I'm still having some issues with what I believe is the reverb echoing any vibrations through the amp.

The best I can explain this is if you stomp your foot next to the amp I get an echo effect of the impact for a couple of seconds.  The sound is dependent on volume level and is sensitive enough to cause this echo even with just toggling the the on/off switch if I leave the volume turned up at all.

Any ideas what I can do about this?

Thanks!

Hi there, sounds like your reverb tank isn't isolated from the amp frame/chassis.Usually there's rubber grommets or washers that the tank is mounted on to reduce vibration transmission to the tank, they might be missing.Hope this is of some help,Mel.
