SA 21 limit circuit
« on: March 18, 2010, 07:34:38 pm »
The amp was DOA when I got it. It turns out there were a few issues with it, such as a bad rectifier, bad transistor ( Q11 ) on CH A board and associated resistor ( R23). The wire routing at the junction plate was all wrong. I got all of the above straightened out and am getting clean output from both channels but CH A's red limit LED stays lit from the moment of power on. I haven't located the offending component and was hoping someone on this forum has knowledge regarding this problem. thanks dv
