Just curious ..for anyone that has owned BOTH the Silver Face and Black Face (red knob) Concert Bass,other than the obvious elimination of the Distort feature,and ability to run at 2 ohms,,did you notice any difference in overall tone or have a preference for which one you liked better??
I have had a Silver since I bought new,in 1974. But never myself have heard a black one.
