Replacment Fan Assembly For Coliseum 880 Head
« on: June 28, 2010, 07:08:58 pm »
I'm concerned that the next time I play my Coliseum 880 for more than an hour the cooling fan is going to stop spinning and I'm going to toast the electronics.  Right now is sounds a little bit like an old hamster wheel.  I'm assuming that I cannot lubricate the motor so can someone tell me where I can find a suitable replacement fan assembly?  Thanks... :?

Hi there, sounds like the bearings are starting to go in your fan motor/shaft assembly.I believe any 4" 120 volt fan will mount in the amp ok,Boxer fans, etc.
Make sure you mount the fan with the air moving in the same direction as the orig. Good luck,Mel.
