in & out on a model t (send & return?)
« on: August 03, 2010, 06:21:44 pm »
i was wondering if you could use the in and out on the model t like you could use a send and return, on say an orange or120, for an echo effect?  i want to use my roland sre-555 through the model t but im kinda afraid of blowing it up, knowing that you can daisy-chain other model t's with the in/out.  help would be greatly appreciated

Short answer: no.

The inputs and outputs on the front of the amp are simply parallel jacks. See the schematic here: http://sunn.ampage.org/site/schematics/modelt.gif On the back is a LINE OUT jack which can be used as a send, but the output is a reduced-voltage version of the speaker output, and there is no line level input anywhere on the amp, no return function.
