Now that I'm working with two Model T's, I'd like to run them simultaneously but separately and to different cabs. Naively, I thought splitting my guitar signal to two amps would be simple. In fact, I was sure that in some dusty corner of Guitar Center, I'd find a 3-way, Y-shaped guitar cable that would solve everything. Wrong.
I've been researching ABY boxes because they appear to be my only option, but there seem to be some serious problems with most ABY units (i.e., tone degradation, tone coloring, volume and sustain loss, etc.). Then there's the question of which is "better," active or passive ABY's.
Any thoughts, experiences, or recommendations? Thanks, folks!
