I don't mind single driver cabs,at my age,(mid 50's),I'm still gigging and loading my own gear in and out,it means a few more trips, but I can handle every piece by myself.I tend to load the cabs up with high power spkrs. and they work fine for me,will handle my 4,5,and 8 str. basses well.Just my 2 cents,Mel.

Amen, Brother, AMEN...Us older players have to worry about throwing the old back out.  I agree that a number of smaller lighter single speaker cabs are easier to move than one big multi speaker cab.  I'm beginning to realize that after I built the B230 2 x 15 clone cabs for my Sentura II.  The 2' x 3' cabs with two JBL K-130's are getting to be a back breaker.  I'm just glad that they have casters.  Just my opinion also.  Bob

I'm with Mel and Bob on this one. As much as I love my 215s, when I can get by with less the 115 is 'way easier on my back! Plus the folded horn configuration gives me a fuller sound with better projection than a regular single 15.
