Concert Lead pilot lite?

Does anyone know a part number or value for the pilot lite across the power switch on a Sunn Concert Lead?  I was repairing a broken lead on the cap across the power switch and broke the pilot lite in the process :-( 
Also, does this 'pilot lite' function as a fuse?  The amp seems to function even with this bulb disconnected. 
There also seems to be (what I believe to be) a diode wired in series with this bulb.  I don't see this on the schematic.  Any info on any of this would be helpful.  Thanks!

Not sure exactly what version of the Concert Lead you have. Most Sunn pilot lights use a neon bulb which require a resistor in series. Usually between 100K and 47K. The amp will still work after the light fails.

My Concert Lead is stamped as being built in 1972.  What is the function of the pilot lite?  Should I even bother replacing it?

The function of the pilot tight is to make it easy to tell when the amp is on.
