i have a 6 x 12 with 4 8 ohm speakers that are functional so i have to replace 2 of them. the only problem is that my head only supports 8 and 16 ohms.
if i put mismatching ohm speakers in to get my load to 16 ohms would i notice an audible difference.
it would be 2 4 ohm speakers in series for 8 ohms then into a series parallel combination of 4 8 ohm speakers for the other 8ohms.
