Fake logos

I just love folks who start this type of scam - get some aluminum sheet stock and silk screen up some "used" logos for the unsuspecting to buy at $30 - just sell it as a repo and be done with it (or as long as FMC doesn't get on your case).

well, there's a well known band who uses the name Sunn O)) and that doesnt seem to bother them.  Why would some guy selling a name plate cause a commotion?

Also, the guy who sells the $30 fake plates, states that they are reproductions, why would he change his tune now?

I've ordered from one of these dudes, not this exact guy but the other dude. He stated they were reproductions though, and I ordered one cuz I needed it. Better than buying a logo for $80 like I've seen before.

I can't say that I'm offended by it. It's a service that there seems to be a market for. More power to him, I suppose.

Hell, when someone starts offering quality reproductions of Sunn cabs, I'll THROW my money at them. God bless capitalism.

Monolith Loudspeakers makes clones of the 2000s cab, angled baffle 612, and a 1-15 (I think a 215B cut in half)

Hey I spent a year getting the original knobs for Sunn amps from Rogan - sold them at a fair price and didn't say they were NOS that I found in an attic. It's called truth in advertising and that ePay auction is fraud cause we all know what's pictured can't be from the 1980's. If you don't see the point - well I've got a 55" vintage Fender strat that you can buy from my friends in asia.

George, he stated that it came off a 60's/70's Sunn amp, and that he took it off the amp in question sometime in the 80's, not that the logo itself was from the 80's. You need to read a little closer before you go accusing people of fraud. Besides, who made you the ebay police?
