First of all, greetings to all sunn lovers in here. This is my first post and i'm relatively new sunn addict, i own just a beta lead for now, but it's difficult to get sunn amps where i live (Croatia) since no one is willing to ship them. Anyway, i'm really interested in the story behind sunn and everything there is about it, but there is one thing that bothers me and i haven't bumped anywhere on that information. So, why did they sell the brand to fender!? I mean, if sunn was doing well at the time...why sell!? And another thing, why did fender shut the whole sunn thing so shortly after they bought it!? Was sunn maybe threatening with it's sale on music market to fender so fender wanted to get rid of them and to buy them was the only way!? I'm really clueless so i would appreciate every information.
