Anyone have any new pictures?  Here are some SUNN amps I've owned in the past.  My current (and only) Sunn is a '67 Spectum I (EL34s) with a 1x15 JBL (D-130, 16 ohm).

I used the first pic to sell an amp on ebay about five years ago.  It has been used by other sellers claiming to sell SUNNs.  If you see it, beware!

Hey ya'll....I am new to the site but absolutely appreciate all the great info and insight.  Ya'll are awesome!  I finally got my hands on my first real ride after years of searching.  Snagged a 1969 Sunn Sceptre w/ the staggered 4x12 and would not have been as versed on it without the help of everyone on the forum...from dating it to gaining insight on tubes etc etc.  I really lucked out on this one...she was blown up in the 70's and left in a closet for almost 30 years before it was completely overhauled by a local sunn aficionado here in the denver area.  The guts look awesome and the tone is unbeatable.  I love the design of the staggered 4x12, but found the stock transducers to be rather dark compared to the bass drivers I've got in the other cab shown ('68 Bassman 4x12 w/ delta pros).  I'll definitely keep them, but I'm toying with the idea of throwing the emi wizards in the sunn cab and running both (only to be as ridiculous as possible-- marty mcfly style).  But, overall, I couldn't be any happier, and was actually surprised at how underrated these amps were.  I was a little worried when testing it out, how it would sit in the mix against a matamp gt1 (cranked), a monster bass rig and a 7' tall drummer with a 26" kick (mothabrotha's got some power behind his whips) but cleanwise, it's present enough, and with a fuzzbox/boost in front of it, the thing f@#&ing roars.

Well, guess I should post here (have I before? Maybe it's just an update....)

My apologies for the crappy iPhone pictures, I'll get better ones soon....

Anyways, just picked up a 1971 Sunn 2000s cab (unloaded). It's been retolexed, and an extra large hole cut for the jack, but otherwise it's pretty much there (excluding handles). Have to find some K140s soon.........
