Where's the 500 watt claim coming from that this seller is stating in the eBay posting?  :? 

As I understood the power spec on these amps the 880 in the model name represented the peak wattage but the RMS power rating was something like only 300 watts.

Guess I can check the back of mine but maybe someone out there that knows more than me can confirm or deny?

On the back of a Coliseum it says "Power Requirement 117 V.A.C. 60hz 500W". Many people who don't know any better think this means 500W power output.

That power requirement mistake is pretty common on eBay.
