I'm going to have to agree with the hotter pickups suggestion. The Gibson Tony Iommi Signatures are very nice, and sound great through a Model T. Maybe something to consider?

That Kerry King amp is worse than I had anticipated. I think I'd just save my time and invest in a JCM800 2203, instead. :p

Hotter pickups would definitely help. The extra windings needed to make the pickups hotter also reduce the top end a bit, making the pickup also sound fatter.

Another option might be to get a clean boost. That would give you a stronger signal at the amp's input, driving the input stage harder. That might help you get what you want.

Clean boosts get terribly fuzzy with with the T and my guitar, the pickup in my guitar which most people refuse to believe is actually very hot. I've been messing around with the T, I'm thinking that I should a white face reissue RAT and be done with it after I pickup a second 4x12 for it.

Try to find an 80's Rat. I've noticed they'll pop up every so often, or people will sell them for cheap because they've had it sitting around for so long, and didn't bother to look into their value. I've scored one for $60, and it was in near mint condition.

That being said, Rat and the T belong together. I did just get the Wampler Pinnacle V2, but I don't see my Rat ever leaving the effects chain.

i have two 80s and the reissue whiteface- sonically  interchangeable-since it too has the LM-308 which is necessary for the girth of the rat!

I have an 80'sish RAT serial number 250XXX (I just don't recall it). But it needs some work, I have a different chip for it that might swap into it that came from another RAT of a very close serial number also in the 250,000's. I'm looking into a whiteface reissue RAT but I don't want to spend the money on it without moving the ZVEX Super Duper I have.

you ever thought about getting a quad of soft breakup 6550's(means they distort faster at lower volume) hotter pickups, and maybe a EMG afterburner (boost control 2 kinds 1 with a on/off switch the other has a pot that lets you dial it in)

and the only other thing i can suggest are roberts retro valves(there not on the market just yet but soon) there hotter than a 12AX7 doug roberts(helped design the first soldano SLO 100) been a tech at i belive phillps or rca for like ever and came up with there design ive got to play on several different amps that where at namm and they are very cool and sound great

I will be replacing all the tubes with softer rated tubes in both my MIG 100 and Model T after what they've got goes. The 6550s in my T are still original and I like their sound for how ridiculously loud they have to be turned up to really get any real growl out of them and my preamp is pretty weak right now.
