Saw him at Sasquatch this year, pretty cool, and then I found this video of him in the campgrounds, and look what's there in the background. Ye Olde SUNN cab.

Pretty cool indeed. To me reminiscent of the Delta Bluesmen of the 30's and 40's; sort of a progression from the Muddy Waters pre Chess solo style "electrified" Chicago blues.
Very interesting and listenable IMO.

Yeah, I'd never heard of him before I saw him at Sasquatch, I really enjoyed it. Really stripped down and "raw". Plus anything reminiscent of delta/early chicago blues is good in my books. I think my favorite clip of him is actually this one, doing Fleetwood Mac's The Chain. I think he really does it justice while changing it up. Plus, electric Mandobird? Heck yeah. No Sunn content though.
