Sunn 200S vs Sunn 215BH cabs

Any experiences, comments, comparisons, thoughts between these two cabs?  I'm looking at one of each.  The 200S has no speakers, so what speakers (other than the original JBL D140F) would work well in it?  Thanks.

The 200S cab will be hard to find speakers that will fit. Ususally the magnet will hit the slanted part of the baffle behind the speaker. It's always wise to check to see of a 200S cab has been hacked up by previous attempts to install other speakers.

I think you can front load larger ceramic drivers into the 200S. Might have to "customize" the grill cloth frame or even make a new one but it would probably work, although I've never actually tried it.

Just get the 200S, load it with K140's and be done with it; you will have one of the sweetest, best sounding bass guitar cabs ever produced, and the K's will give you plenty of durability.

Kinda sounds like a preference for the 200S over the 215BH from you guys?  I wish I was closer to both the cabs so I could check them out more easily.  Pricewise, the 215BH is about the same price with the original speakers as the 200S is without any speakers.

As far as my comments it's not a case of saying one is better than the other. I'm not really familiar with the BH cab, but I know the 200S very well. The BH looks to have substantially more internal volume box wise, but gives some back because of the angled baffle board so without accurate measurements or “hand on” experience I can’t even speculate about how the cab would respond as compared to the 200S.

The BH might be the best bass cab in the world, but I can confidently recommend the 200S because of that.
