Concert Bass Cabinet

Hello everybody,
I'm a newbie from overseas, and I wondering what kind of Sunn cabinet was used in 70's for Concert Bass head. I suppose the 215S or 215B, but I'm not sure.

Secondly, I'm thinking about the infamous Sunn rig, pictured inside the Kyuss cd booklet. What kind of cabinet was there? It seems to me a Fender-like cab, more than a Sunn-like one. Am I wrong?

At that time, Sunn was in its "mix and match" mode. All cabinets and heads were sold separately. The Concert Bass head was recommended with the 115S, 215S, 312S, and possibly with the 412S, 610S and 612S as well. I think the 215S was the most common choice, though. That's what I had for a while. For portability and flexibility, I'd have preferred two 115S cabinets, though.

So, I know it's hard to check out from a small and low-fi pic, but could the following be a 215S cab?

That's not a Sunn cabinet, the chrome corners are wrong. It looks home made.

Certainly doesn't look like one to me. The drivers appear to be centered in the cabinet horizontally, while the 215S cab had them offset, because the port was vertical. This cab looks to have the port at the bottom, which is a design Sunn never used, as far as I know.

I forgot the horn cabinets. The Concert Bass worked well with the 118VH and the 215SH as well.
