For those who have been following the saga ...

The mightly Sceptre has been reunited with its 4x12 cab and had its debut at the Quinta Esmerelda in Caracas. Crowd of about 1000.

The rig which can sound a bit harsh at low volumes sounded divine at concert blast. The beast sustains like there was no tomorrow - this while driven by a Stat'.

It certainly draws a crowd - musicians gathered around like flies. None could belive the age, beautiful condition, or awesome sound.

Sunn, it not just for bassists anymore

Fred...Do you get to strap it to a burro to haul it from gig to gig with guys in sombreros for roadies? (if so, send pics) Very cool that you managed to get the whole rig shipped there to keep it together. How'd you end up shipping the cab?  Regards -- jon

No burros, we used a truck.

I had a lucky break when a coworker decided to visit family in California - brought back the beast as checked baggage.

Arrived in great shape.

Most interesting sound, has no trouble cutting through the mix!
