Rick...I go along with Greg on this one.....it's an "awakening". It's the "Sultan of Sunn" telling you to rise up, play that thing..and make a name for yourself. :^>)
As far as its $$$ worth: To the Sunn Sickos in here it's worth more than to the world at large. If you were to bring it to any of your local music stores they'd offer you $100 for the whole thing and lead you to believe that they were doing you a favor. If you went along with that, chances are pretty good that the head and cabinet would be sold seperately and poof, there goes another piece of history.
Old SUNN gear doesn't have many "lovers" for some insane reason. SUNN worshippers are just slightly higher in the collectors food chain than, say, Standel.
Sonically, it'll blow away anything else in its class..or era. Good Stuff!
If you have no use for it, post it for sale in here and see what develops. If it's in good condition I'd recommend that you don't ship it anywhere. Trucks and vintage gear hate one another.
