model t distortion

hey everyone
i have one of the new model t heads. its great, i love it. id like to get a little bit more distortion out of it though. does anyone know how i can do this. perhaps a change of tubes? the tubes in it right now are the groove tubes fender put in it.

If it is new ,great and you love it most probably your tubes are fine try overdriving the preamp section with an Ibanez TS-9 stompbox or a boss hyperfuzz set to "gain boost" either of these will allow the natural character of you amp to show through.
Also, have you had your amp up LOUD enough for the power tubes to break up? Tube amplifiers tend to have a "sweet spot" where the distortion sounds best at a specific volume.

i found a good volume and presence and everything. its really loud, but the tone i can get at higher volumes is amazing. the model t far outdoes anything ive heard from more popular (and expensive) amps.

what do you think about useing a power
brake attenuator to use the amps gain with out having to endure the volume needed for
a small venue.

power brakes are fine to use but remember... DO NOT TAKE YOUR AMP TO 10! Tube amps arent designed for that and people who complain they blow a transistor or something its because they crank it to 10 and have the speaker volume hardly on. The louder you crank the tubes the less life you will get out of them. Use it at a safe volume and your amp will be fine.
