Hi All

I'm downsizing my pa and want to run my model 15's full range instead of bi-amping
and using them as bottoms only.  Does anyone know how high I should elevate them for the best sound?  At this point I'm just playing small to medium sized clubs and all instruments are mic'ed.  Any advice will be appreciated.

Hello:
It varies in each room. When you elevate the highs should be above the audience's heads. Speakers at room boundaries (floor, wall etc.) will produces more bass due to acoustic loading. This will however load the mids as well and sound "honky" so I usually do a listen test and splay/elevate/place cabinets for best sound and club owner's guidlines.
