1982 Sunn SPL 912R speaker
« on: July 20, 2014, 10:56:09 pm »
Here's an approximately 1982 12 inch speaker, SPL 912R with 3 inch copper voice coil - 55through 3KHz / 98dB 1W/1W - 400W program 225 W RMS - fs 50Hz - Qes 0.29 - Qts 0.24 - Vas 2.3 Cu.ft. - CMC 0.17 X 10^6 - No 3.1% straight out the catalogue section thanks to loudthud.  Also, the voice coil weighs 26 pounds.  A few weeks ago, the speaker Doctor replaced the surround, the gasket and the unit where the speaker wires attach to the speaker.  Mainly for PA, it had been used in an old Fender Bassman for guitar and bass.  Might as well throw in keyboards too.  I'm in Gastonia, NC on I-85 or shipping is a possibility.  One like it, except in worse condition,  was on Ebay back in May for $350 plus $80 shipping.  You can get this one for $325.00.  704-867-8056.
