Sunn 412L for sale or trade
« on: October 20, 2014, 07:14:09 pm »
I have an original 1976 or 1977 Sunn 412L cabinet in mint condition. The cabinet was bought by my room mate in either 76' or 77'. Two weeks later our house was broken into and the head was stolen. My room mate decided not to play anymore and I've owned it since. It has been in my closet for over 20 years, and probably has less than 20 hours on it since new. It is a 10 out of a 10 condition wise. I'm in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Don't really want to ship it, but will if I must. Asking $600 firm. You won't find one any better than this. Original wheels, speakers...the whole works. Tolex has not one tear or scratch on it. Pics will be sent upon request by text. Include your phone number on responses if you want pictures. Will consider trading for an old Fender Twin or an old Marshall cabinet locally.

Is that the one I saw rolling around at the Arlington Guitar show? It sure looked nice!

Yes sir. Glad you noticed! Would you give that one a 10 on condition? I took it home and put my Egnator Renegade head on it. Still sounds awesome!

I bought a Sunn 412L cabinet in the DFW area recently in near mint condition, 9 out of 10 I'd say, just because of a small tear in the tolex on the top of the cab. The 2nd owner bought it a Zoo Music back in the late 70s, rehearsed on it but never did any gigs, whereas afterward the cabinet was stored with no further use. I bought it for $300 and have been rehearsing/gigging on it for the past 2 months with no problems...just thought I'd chime in for reference on pricing.

Good luck!
