Transformer for beta bass

Hello! I have a sunn beta bass from usa and i live in sweden now. So im looking for a power transfomer for 230v to change instead of the 110v one. Do someone here now where i can buy one? Using a stepdown transformer is not an option, i want to change the transformer in the amp.

Replacing a power transformer is not a project for the Do It Yourselfer. Even if you can find a transformer, the amp would need significant modification to meet safety standards in your country. It may not even be lawfull to operate the amplifier. You need to find someone in your country that is familiar with safety regulations there. This will not be inexpensive. Using a stepdown transformer is your best option.

Both the voltage converters in the link should do the job. One issue is that the schematic for the Beta seres just says 60Hz. A 50Hz transformer needs to be about 10% bigger than a 60Hz transformer to run at the same temperature. It is unknown if there is enough margin built in to the stock Beta transformer to survive at 50Hz. Proceed with caution at your own risk.

Do anyone know if the stock transformer in the beta bass can handle 50hz? Maybe it wont be a problem if i don't play really loud?
